Janet V. Markovits has been a NY State licensed massage therapist since 1997. A graduate of the Swedish Institute of Massage, Janet is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She has studied numerous modalities including MotherMassage® with Elaine Stillerman, Maya Abdominal Massage with Rosita Arvigo,CranioSacral and Lymphatic Drainage with the Upledger Institute and Sports Massage with James Hackett . She has done volunteer work for NYC Fire Department after Sept 11th and volunteered her services for the NYC Marathon and Bike NY. Janet continues to educate herself and her clients on the latest techniques and research.

Our office is located in the heart of Soho. You will enter into a beautiful waiting area hearing the sounds of a calming waterfall and then taken to one of the treatment rooms. Each room was created to enhance your massage experience. We are now also in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
